Measuring the Success of a Coworking Community
A great set of goals that are universally applicable to anyone looking to bootstrap a coworking community for themselves: People would rather come into the coworking space than work at home, even when they have no work to do. Successful residents will eventually outgrow the community and need to move out. Corporate workers will use the space to jump from being employees to entrepreneurs. New...

Prism for Firefox makes life better
I downloaded and installed the Prism extension for Firefox last night. This extension allows me to set a certian web page, like google calendar or gmail, to have a look and feel of it’s own application. Now my google calendar has it’s own little icon in the doc, has it’s own little window with no forward/back buttons, no address bar around it to be distracting and take up space....

This is another startup/entrepreneur program like Momentum. It’s great to see these efforts starting to take hold in the mid-west. I wonder if there’s any consortium or place for these orginzations to start sharing ideas and methodologies?

Quick thought
It’s amazing what a week off at home can do. I feel super relaxed, ready to conquer the next step in my life and excited about what this summer has to offer. I think moving forward I need to figure out how to have a week off at home that allows me to disconnect as it really helps put everything into perspective.

Case-Mate Vroom rocks
A few months ago I picked up a new iPhone 3G and my first purchase for it was a nice protective case. I saw a review of a neat case that looked like tire tread from a company called Case-Mate…It was right up my alley. So I ordered one and a few days later it was on my phone and I was extremely happy with it. The Vrrom is great case. The sticky rubber compound they use to make the case is...
