Case-Mate Vroom rocks

A few months ago I picked up a new iPhone 3G and my first purchase for it was a nice protective case. I saw a review of a neat case that looked like tire tread from a company called Case-Mate…It was right up my alley. So I ordered one and a few days later it was on my phone and I was extremely happy with it.

The Vrrom is great case. The sticky rubber compound they use to make the case is awesome, like a good pair of tires, it just sticks. I can put it on the dashboard of my truck and it doesn’t move. I haven’t yet had it slip out of my hand or off a table because it’s just good.

Just a couple of days ago a box showed up in our mail box from Case-Mate. Inside the box was a nice note explaining how they’ve improved the design of the case and as a way of saying thank you for ordering an early model, they wanted to send me the latest and greatest model free of charge. How cool is that!?

I have to be completely honest that I’m actually happier with the original mode. The old version is sticker and a tiny less bulky, but the new version will definitely be easier to get in and out of my pocket and bag.

So thanks to the Case-Mate guys for being awesome and doing something unexpected, actions like that are what make the difference between you and all the other companies out there.
