Free to who ever wants it: A manufacturing company that produces silent lawn mowers to the delight of neighbors everywhere.

With all of the commotion and pressure for automotive cars to bring a battery powered car to market, I don’t understand why more and more attention isn’t being paid to the small engine market that causes so much noise and annoyances in todays suburbs.

I spend a good part of my weekend and weeknights listening to people mow their lawns. A smart company could come into the market with an affordable and quiet battery powered lawn mower and market it just like the Prius. Make this new mower the symbol that you care about the environment as well as keeping your neighborhood quiet and relaxing.

I know that there’s been battery powered mowers, and even mowers that require you to plug in, or even the old fashioned push rotary mowers…But the marketing isn’t there, the social push isn’t there to make them things of envy and status. That’s what’s missing.
